Happy New Year 2011!
We start off the year with the 2nd empowerment workshop for girls which takes place for grade 7 students on Tuesday 18th January. See the information below for more details.
Cal 2 ends on 24th February. Students have set targets in their planners and will review their progress at the end of the cal.
Exam week starts 22nd March - only 10 weeks away. Students should start preparing early and will be given help with exam techniques by our LSU department in the lead-up to the exams.
Empowerment workshop for girls "Self Esteem and Self Care" THIS WEEK!!!We are offering these workshops to help ABC girls understand the importance of making the right choices in their lives as they grow up and face gender related pressures. They are delivered by FUNPRES with our LSU team. Each session is from 2.30 - 4.30 and is optional but we hope ALL girls will come. They are FREE - Get in touch with your Head of Year or myself to sign up! Thursday 13th January - 9th, 10 and 11th, 12th grade Tuesday 18th January - 6th, 7th and 8th.
Estamos ofreciendo estos talleres para ayudarle a las alumnas de la ABC a comprender la importancia de hacer elecciones correctas en sus vidas y poder asi enfrentar presiones relacionadas al genero de una mejor manera. Estos talleres son facilitados por FUNPRES junto a nuestro equipo de LSU. Cada sesion es de 2:30pm a 4:20pm y es opcional pero esperamos que TODAS las alumnas asistan. Son GRATIS- por favor comunicarse con su Head of Year o conmigo para inscribirse! Jueves 13 de Enero- 9o y 10o, 11o y 12o. Martes 18 de enero- 6o, 7o y 8o.
